Coaching and Mentoring
A few years ago, trying to level up as a corporate leader, I hired an executive performance coach, a Doctor of Psychology, with a decade of mentoring high-performance executives. She is highly sought after, and it took a year on her waiting list to become a client. She worked with me one on one, built me through real exercises, and I grew. I became a better leader because of it.
Around that same time, I realized my body was failing me. I hired a personal trainer and got myself back into fighting shape. It worked so well that I went and earned a personal training certification, not to train anyone, but to actually understand the machine: how muscle, fitness, and nutrition work on the body I live and lead in.
And somewhere in there it hit me. I had two coaches building two halves of the same man. The executive coach forging the leader. The trainer rebuilding the body. They never talked to each other. And I thought, what if they were one person? What would it be like to have a coach who understood both, because the man is one system, not two?
I couldn’t find that person. So I became him.
I took that one year of self-improvement and worked it into a coaching system for men my age who are navigating the same things that I was.
I work with a small number of men in the climb, the leader who’s lost his footing, the man over 50 rebuilding, the one carrying everyone else. I coach the whole man: the leadership and the body, the mind and the foundation it runs on. Not theory. Lived, on the ground, from the badge to the boardroom and back to the gym.
If that’s the kind of coaching you’ve been looking for and couldn’t find either, reach out. Let’s talk and see if we are a good fit.
